Dr. Blayne is a board-certified poultry veterinarian and founder of The Poultry Doc. After seeing the systemic lack of veterinary access for backyard flocks, he built this platform to expand access to science-backed care to every family raising small flocks.

VETERINARIAN
Dr. Jess’ love for poultry began with 4-H, leading to a DVM from Ohio State and a graduate certification in Avian Health and Medicine from the University of Georgia. She developed vaccination programs and HPAI response plans while working for Kalmbach Feeds before expanding into backyard flocks.

Dr. Amari joined The Poultry Doc in 2026, blending poultry research, mobile veterinary practice, and evidence-based avian care. A graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, she provides hands-on and telemedicine care to backyard flocks across Ontario and beyond.
